2013 MINI CAR CLASS

Here are the compacts rules. If you have any questions, let me know.

MINI CAR RULES - 2012

Build compacts to the same rules as full size derby cars.

With the following exceptions:

1. NO AMC EAGLE WAGONS
2. NO HUMP PLATES
3. No shortening of frames or moving axels to shorten wheel base.
4. Wheelbase must be 108 inches or less. NO EXCEPTION.
5. Must be powered by four or six cylinder engines.
6. NO LEAFING MINI CARS. No four-wheel drive vehicles.
7. MANDATORY – All mini cars must have a cage. Four point minimum.WITH A ROLL OVER BAR
8. Stock gas tank MUST be removed. Original tanks CAN NOT BE USed

When you say all MUST have a cage are you referring to a roll cage?

Thinking about running at redneck rumble in januaray. Ive got a few questions about your rules. Ive got a 92 fastback mustang i'll be bringing.

- No hump plates on compacts at all?
- on the fast back(hatch) I weld the hatch solid and i have 2 window bars in the hatch itself(running from the top of the hatch to the bottom of the hatch) any issues with that?
- What is your bumper shock length?
- Will a 2'x4' spec steel bumper with a chrome skin be allowed?
- I have a 4"x6" patch on my front frame rail to patch rust damage. Allowed?
